Parent Information Night
The HPEDSB Parent Involvement Committee is presenting an evening talk on parenting, resilience and positive mental health. The Northern School Group evening presentation is on May 15 at York River Public School. Light snacks and refreshments will be served from 6 pm onwards with the key not speaker at 6:30 pm.
The key note address is being given by Leslie Ford. Leslie Ford is a local child and youth worker certified in Therapeutic Crisis and with 35 years of experience in child development. She works with families assisting children with high needs behaviour at home and at school.
Fun Fair Update
Due to the Special Weather Advisory which calls for snow, freezing rain and ice pellets tomorrow, Fun Fair has been postponed. Fun Fair will not take place on Tuesday, May 7th from 5:30 - 8 pm.
If you sent in baked goods, we have put them in freezer until next week.
We appreciate your understanding, it was certainly not in our intention to have winter in May!
School Climate Survey
We ask that all our parents and guardians take a few minutes (less than 5) to complete HPEDSB's School Climate Survey for Families. The information collected helps us to identify areas where we need to focus our attention.
The link to the survey can be found on the left hand side of this website.
